Pleatco Spa Filter Wash Tablet - Deep Cleaning Treatment for Spa & Hot Tub Filters

Keep your hot tub filters clean and performing at their best with the Pleatco Spa Filter Wash Tablet, a convenient deep-cleaning treatment designed for removable spa and hot tub filter cartridges.

Over time, spa filters collect body oils, lotions, dirt, and other contaminants that can become trapped within the filter pleats. A regular rinse may remove loose debris, but a dedicated filter-cleaning treatment helps address stubborn buildup that can affect filtration performance.

Pleatco Spa Filter Wash provides a convenient tablet-based cleaning solution for maintaining reusable spa filter cartridges. When used according to the manufacturer's instructions, it helps remove accumulated residue and supports proper water circulation through the filter media.

Regular filter cleaning is an important part of hot tub maintenance. Keeping your cartridges clean can help maintain effective filtration, support clearer spa water, and reduce unnecessary strain caused by restricted water flow.

Whether you're performing routine hot tub maintenance or preparing your spa for a fresh water change, Pleatco Spa Filter Wash is a practical addition to your cleaning supplies.

Why Use Pleatco Spa Filter Wash?

Hot tub filter cartridges work continuously to capture debris and contaminants from circulating water. As buildup accumulates, the filter can become less effective and harder to clean with water alone.

Using a dedicated filter-cleaning treatment as part of your maintenance routine can help remove stubborn residue and keep your filter working efficiently.

For best results, combine periodic deep cleaning with regular rinsing, balanced spa water chemistry, and filter replacement when necessary.

How to Use

Always follow the directions printed on the product packaging.

1. Turn off the spa's circulation equipment before removing the filter.

2. Remove the filter cartridge from the spa.

3. Rinse loose dirt and debris from the filter pleats.

4. Prepare a cleaning solution using the amount of water and tablet dosage specified by Pleatco.

5. Soak the cartridge for the recommended period.

6. Thoroughly rinse the filter until cleaning residue is removed.

7. Reinstall the cartridge according to the spa manufacturer's instructions.

Safety: Do not place the cleaning tablet directly into spa water unless the manufacturer explicitly instructs you to do so. Do not mix the cleaning solution with other pool or spa chemicals.
